The Journey Continues!
Hey all!
Over the past few months, we've been knee deep in production for Where Ya Been? and cannot wait to share the film with everyone.
Thus far, in 2024 alone we've filmed in Arizona, Nashville, North Carolina, and Kentucky, with plans to return to Nashville and Austin in the near future.
We are continually grateful for the support the film has already received via the Kickstarter and the outpouring of people sharing stories, photos, and video clips. We are also consistently reminded of the impact that Luke made everywhere he went - sometimes good, sometimes bad. This nuance will be an important aspect of the film. Luke was an absolute magnet.
When we aren't on the road filming, we're back at home in Kalamazoo, Michigan, pouring through footage and carefully weaving this story together. We still have plenty of work to do, but the work that is taking shape is encouraging us daily and pushes us to keep at it.
One very exciting bit of news; we are getting some attention from players in the filmmaking world who think we have a good shot at screening the film in some of the major festivals here in the US, and depending on how that shakes out, it may push our release dates. More details to come, but I wanted to give as much information as possible to keep everyone in the loop.
